Dream Watch - Urushi Green

Founded in 2005 in Oita, Japan by Taizo Okagaki, Wancher Watch began as an outdoor and tool watch brand before pivoting in 2021 to celebrate traditional Japanese lacquerware arts. The brand's Dream Watch Collection features hand-finished dials using ancient Urushi, Maki-e, and Raden techniques, each dial unique and crafted by master artisans with over a decade of dedicated practice. Wancher collaborates with studios in Wajima and Echizen to preserve dying heritage crafts through wearable timepieces, with most models priced under $1,000.
