Founded in 2000 in Italy, U-Boat brings its own identity to contemporary watchmaking. Founded in 2000 by designer Italo Fontana in Lucca, Italy, U-Boat draws on 1940s sketches by his grandfather Ilvo Fontana, who was commissioned to design a wristwatch for Italian Navy pilots.
