Founded near Paris by Arnaud Pezeron, SYE (short for 'Start Your Engine') translates the aesthetics of vintage automobiles and motorcycles into modern wristwatches. Its MOT1ON line uses dials etched with engine-block lines, 316L steel and titanium cases, and Miyota/Seiko movements, while the Cannonball GMT adds a regulated Miyota 9075 travel complication. SYE's signature is the patented Fastback quick-change strap system, with French calfskin straps crafted in partnership with Maison Jean-Rousseau, letting owners swap leather, metal, fabric and FKM rubber straps without tools. Watches are assembled and numbered in France with a two-year international warranty and a home 'Test Drive' trial service.
