About Sinn
Founded by Helmut Sinn, a WWII pilot and flight instructor who believed instruments should be engineered, not styled. Modern Sinn is German over-engineering as a love language: cases in submarine steel from ThyssenKrupp, bezels that cannot be ripped off, oil-filled or argon-dehumidified cases that won't fog at altitude, hardened Tegiment steel that shrugs off keys and doorframes. The 903 navigation chronograph carries the lineage of the Heuer Bundeswehr pilots' watches; the U-series divers are made from actual U-boat steel.
Frankfurt's finest doesn't romance you with marketing — it romances you with a technical datasheet, and somehow that's more seductive.
