Founded in 2013 by Todd Adams and a team of former YETI leadership, Seaholm set out to bring YETI's obsessive, spec-driven, rugged-product ethos to mechanical watchmaking. Designed in the US and built in Switzerland, the watches are tested to ISO 6425 Diver's 200M certification and engineered well beyond standard tolerances: they resist magnetic forces up to roughly 420 Gauss (about 7x ISO standard) via a pure-iron Faraday cage, and survive a 10ft / ~15,000g drop (about 3x ISO standard) thanks to Alpha Gel viscoelastic shock mounts. The lineup launched with three pieces at once: the Rover field watch, the Offshore diver, and the Flats chronograph. Every watch carries a 3-year transferable warranty and complimentary 5-year service.

Worth knowing

Prices ($2,295-$2,495) are high for a microbrand and the watches run on a relatively basic ISA Swiss quartz-house automatic (280-1, 38h reserve) rather than a premium ETA/Sellita or in-house caliber, so you are paying for the rugged engineering and branding more than horological pedigree.
