MONOGRIIS is an independent mechanical watch brand founded in 2018 by Tsubasa Ohira in Tanimachi, Osaka, Japan. After rebranding in 2025 around a commitment to Japanese craftsmanship, the brand pivoted from fashion watches to precision mechanical timepieces. Their debut mechanical collection, the RESTA R50-001, is a 36mm automatic hand-assembled in Japan with a Miyota 8N40 movement, domed sapphire crystal, and 50m water resistance. The RESTA was featured in Esquire UK as one of the biggest Japanese watch releases of July 2026.
