About Louis Moinet

Switzerland · est. 2004

Founded in 2004 in Switzerland, Louis Moinet brings its own identity to contemporary watchmaking. Relaunched in 2004 by Jean-Marie Schaller in Saint-Blaise, Switzerland, Louis Moinet honors its 18th–19th century namesake — the inventor of the chronograph, whose 1816 "Compteur de Tierces" measured 1/60th of a second. The result is a brand worth discovering for collectors who value character, thoughtful design, and watches that stand apart from the expected.
