Founded in 2014 by Nicolas Boutherin and Richard Piras, Klokers launched its flagship KLOK-01 via Kickstarter in 2015, raising well above its goal and becoming a microbrand crowdfunding success story. The brand rethinks how a watch reads time: instead of hands, concentric rotating discs for hours, minutes and seconds turn under a fixed reference marker, an idea drawn from circular slide rules. A proprietary quick-release strap system (KLINK) lets owners swap straps in seconds and even clip the watch head onto a desk stand or pendant. After a quiet period, the brand was relaunched with new colorways and the smaller, more wearable KLOK-08, keeping Swiss Ronda quartz movements while leaning into bold, almost industrial-design aesthetics.

Worth knowing

These are quartz watches at mechanical-watch prices, the disc display takes getting used to and the large polymer-and-steel KLOK-01 wears big with only 30m water resistance and a non-sapphire crystal, so you are paying mostly for the unconventional design rather than horological hardware.
