Behrens is an independent Chinese microbrand launched via Kickstarter in 2019, known for ambitious mechanical complications at accessible price points — including moon phase regulators, mystery-hour displays, and ultra-lightweight titanium cases. The brand draws aesthetic inspiration from the modernist design legacy of its namesake, architect Peter Behrens, and has since produced notable collaborations including a co-designed watch with Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin. Its Moonlight regulator is widely praised by reviewers as among the best value-for-money regulator watches available.
